We have three rules in Visual art class:
Respect
Try
Do Your Best

We have one important moto:
"There is no wrong way to make art, unless you aren't making it at all!"

Our Mission Statement:
All are welcomed in the Visual Art classroom. We use our life, interests and personal experiences to influence and inspire our artwork.  We are creators and explorers, we experiment and persevere, we imagine and dream. We utilize our visual art practice as a means to mindfulness.

In Visual Art class we explore a wide array of materials and techniques including but not limited to:

Painting in watercolor and acrylic, paper marbling

Drawing in graphite, charcoal, pastel, crayon and ink

Sculpture and 3D Design focusing in ceramics, found materials, Origami, plaster and paper maché

Fiber Art including weaving, needle felting and crotchet

Printmaking including techniques in woodblock, linocut and silk screening
