Erving Elementary School Library
Stacy Adams is the physical therapist at Erving Elementary School.  She visited preschool and kindergarten and showed us how she helps people learn to move.  At Erving. Ms. Adams' work is to help children do every day things like running, walking, aiming, and throwing.  When we do these things, we practice using our eyes and hands together.  She makes it fun by playing with balls and balance boards.  All of the children had fun practicing throwing a bean bag and trying to balance on the balance board.

Ms. Adams went to college and earned Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Simmons College to learn to be a physical therapist.  It involved lots of reading!

Ms. Adams also works at Shutesbury and Leverett Elementary Schools, and has some clients that are older people.
